About Maria Tascon

Born and raised in Colombia, South America, Maria graduated with a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad de los Andes.  In 1998, after working as a factory planning and marketing executive at Nestle and LG Electronics, respectively, Maria decided to study English in the United States as well as obtain a MBA with concentration in Information Technology.

 

In 2004, Maria and her husband moved to Spartanburg, SC, where they still reside.  Maria obtained her real estate license in April of 2006 and in October of that year, she joined Keller Williams. In 2007 she awarded the Keller Williams Spartanburg, SC Rookie of the Year.  

Maria specializes in real estate for the Greenville-Spartanburg area in South Carolina.  Her areas of specialty are first time home buyers, relocation buyers, Short Sales and Equity Sales. Maria holds Short Sale and REO Certifications from the Five Star Institute.
